Just want to say thank you to this forum for wonderful guidance, thoughts and friendship. A few days okay I traded in my 2017 tan or sand colored S10 for a 2020 Yamaha XMax. The S10 provided almost 50k outstanding miles but in the end the weight and high CG wore me down. Also, I never have been able to pick it up when dropped which happened a few times (fortunately at zero mph). After looking, and researching several two wheelers, I decided to shift gears (or not) and joined the scooter world. Keep riding.

Oh, and another reason for the change, I started to trailer my bike for rides in different areas instead of riding from the house. My last trip with the S10.

Kinda looks like the Bat Scooter. It's not meant for off road though is it? I thought I saw somewhere that it was. . . . don't see it looking at pictures. It's got to feel a lot like riding the TW 200.

Perhaps you were thinking of the Honda ADV150:

That looks darn near the same. I'd definitely go with the XMax. It's a 300cc. . . . and it's a Yamaha. It's bound to ride well, but I wouldn't go to far off road. (says the pavement princess)

Congratulations !!!… .I don't know if I would congratulate you for selling the S10… I would have left it as a second bike… but congratulations at last… .I bought a miniature (for my youngest son) and I hadn't had so much fun for a long time.:):)

Congratulations on the new ride! I love the sand color on the S10, but i can see why you go a different road now.
Keep the safe miles going, and visit now and then here.

Regards,
Stefan.

Hi old1959, I have a feeling that none of us are getting any younger and many of us will be either retiring from riding or, as you have done, gone for a two wheeler that is smaller, lighter and more manageable. Well done you for choosing to keep riding, don’t be a stranger, drop by from time-to-time and keep us up-to-date with your 2 wheeled adventures!

Yeah, sometimes bigger isn't better. My son with the FJR, rides my wife's TW every time he visits. He talks about how fun it is. I'm over the weight limit, and don't want to break it. So, I don't ride it.
