2020 Super Tenere Price

My local dealer has a 2020 listed for $14,600. What have others paid for a left over S10? I'm thinking of trading my 2012. I just did a 1500 mile trip and really needed the cruise control as well as all the other updates over the Gen1.

Need more info. First of all, where are you located. US, UK, Canada, etc, will all have different prices. If you're in the US, that's an ok price. If your in Canada, that a real good price. 'Cuz, iirc, they're all ES now. My dealer gave me $1,000 off my super new ES. Assuming that you're in the US, and since there's no difference between '20, and '21, I would go for it. You're going to absolutely love it.

Wouldn't do any deals in the UK, selling like mad, could be hard finding one now... I had to buy from miles away... £10,495 for a 'Z' model which has cruise control and a couple of wheels but little else

I had trouble getting mine last September, plenty of ZEs about, but not many plain Z models. I got exactly the same bike you have. Put some goop on the blue wheels, I have managed to get slight salt damage to my rear wheel already.

What lights and screen have you got

My business is rust prevention on vehicles, Defenders mostly. Despite being down south I get a lot of vehicles from Wales, the midlands and up north that have been wrecked by salt. It's just like spraying acid on your chassis... ACF-50 sprayed on in layers not brushed or wiped on is your friend or layers of Fuchs, pre prep silicon spray, less sticky and makes her shine

The screen is a Puig touring screen. It's very good, nearly as good as the Givi Airflow I had on my Versys. I have it on the lowest or 2nd lowest setting usually. The standard screen was on the highest setting and still didn't give much protection from the cold winter air.

The lights are Piaa taken off another forum members bike. They plugged straight into the bike loom under the right hand fairing cover. They were originally on crash bar mounts, but I bought the under fairing mounts from Amazon. The holes are already there for them under the plastic cover.

Keep in mind that almost everything on yours will transfer to the 2020. No need to re-buy stuff, if you already have it.

I would say that is an OK price if it is the OTD price. If they tack on shipping, prep, and whatever else they try to stick you with, then it becomes less than an OK price

In Canada that would be a great deal, i believe the sticker on them is around 18-19k.
Used they are almost impossible to find and when you do find one they appear to go north of 10,000, high mileage one maybe less.

It’s a difficult time to purchase a motorcycle (or car, boat or home for that matter). I was reading a motorcycle industry report and they were saying that motorcycle sales are up 37% over this time last year! I was trying to trade my 2015 Tenere for a 2021 Tenere and the best I could do was 25% over full retail; the attitude being “if you don’t buy it the next guy will.” And to add, the dealership was only willing to give me $3K on my trade in (bike looks good and no damage). I’ve decided to wait until the buying frenzy comes to an end. -JEP-

It's like when everybody got quarantined, they decided to buy a bike. I'm not sure if my employment was threatened that I'd be making that kind of purchase.

And to build a house with lumber that cost 4 to 5 times what it should. They will never be able to sell it and get their money out of it.

My wife's niece is building a house that is going to cost $35k more this year, than it would have last year.

If the housing market continues the way it has been, recouping your investment is almost guaranteed. Even here in Texas, property values have about doubled. Of course that's because of all the rich Californians, and New Yorkers getting into bidding wars over property. Right now, on average, you will get $20k-$30k above list price for a house. . . . and it will sell in less than a week.
