Be sure to keep yer original fasteners for the gas cap for down the road if you remove this - pretty sure these things are what led to PO of my bike screwing up the tank - when he tightened the *too long* screws (used all long instead of 3 long and the rest of the short dress screws) he broke the gas cap surround in 3 places :/ - now I have a couple extra holes under there (epoxied over now) and a shiny new aftermarket cap LOL - oh and a buck fifty less in bank account :/Installed the SW-Motech "Pro" tank-ring.

that practice sounds very familiar 'Wish my bike's PO did that LOL - can't believe he actually ended up punching extra holes in the tank :/Yes.
I keep the originals in the box that the Ring came in.
If I ever remove the ring, it goes back in the Box and the original screws back on the Bike.
I like it a lot.Received the "MotoPumps" GPS Mount today.
I found a $10-off coupon-code over on ADV-Rider, so I bought one.

You might be able to bring the color of the fork protectors back by heating with a heat gun set to low.Bored, Episode 2.
Purchased some stickers online and covered up the fork protectors. Accidentally used a degreaser that's a lil too strong and the colors ran.

Yep, old silos. There's actually artwork all around them featuring famous Kiwis. I'll post more/blog when I get back homeGrain silo's.
We have the same sort of thing in Aus, a Silo art trail that we can follow thru remote towns in rural areas. The artwork is impressive.
