I'm beyond envious.
I did rid yesterday with a high of 16C or something like 63F.
Today was a very different day with a high of only 4C....perhaps 38F.
Oh well, we're locked in Canada, go figure. Enjoy you Floridians.

Well, in our spring summer and fall seasons it's all good....lotsa truly wonderful country roads and loads of gravel if y'all like, but...but...but...winter is really a Krap time of year for us northerners...although we are south of really miserable places like northern Michigan and Minnesota.

Went to a little historic site for the first time.

Built in 1857, 109' long, 4' higher in center. Supposed to be last arched covered bridge in USA.

Really like this
We have an old bridge in Canada somewhat similar to this bridge. I have ridden er rode, or traversed this bridge many times.

Have a look and Google
West Montrose bridge.

Unless you snowmobile as well!!!!
Then there is no crap time of year.
I remember as a young adult my sled was worth more than my car. Those were the college/university days when I was able to drive my sled to school on really snowy days.
Now that is truly Canadian!!!

Teneresaurus 1200 in for 40,000 km service. Time to dust off the everlasting XT 600.
Sunday gave a break in the weather (as in NO RAIN) so time to check out some local historic sites.

One of the few covered bridges in Sweden. Only 200 years old but still.....

King Rane's mound. Dating back to 9th century.

Stons ship (ship tumulus), also from King Rane's time

Ending up at a "retro cafe" for a coffee and a cinnamon roll. Building of cultural value (not to be modernized) both inside and out despite only being from 1960's.

Cool day spanning from 800 A.D. to 1960 in just three hours.
An old thumper is the perfect travel companion.

Hi to all!
I had the opportunity to do a ride yesterday to the "Hacienda Amotepec" in the state of Puebla in the center part of Mexico. This hacienda is one of the places where the "Pulque" (is a traditional fermented drink of Mexico, whose origin is pre-Hispanic and is made from the fermentation of the sap —popularly known in Mexico as aguamiel—, of the agave or maguey, from the agave also the Tequila is made, the difference is that the Tequila is made through destillery process).
We had 70 bikes in the ride, no incidentes, but you should imagine getting the 70 bikes through the Toll booths or getting fuel in a very small fuel station (two pumps), it took a long time to go through or getting fuel, but never the less is was part of the fun.

Was a great day! Long day too! (left home at 7:15 and got back at 20:45), was a great experience to hear/see the Pulque process, not well known!
Have a great weekend!

Miguel.

Some great photos on this thread. Good to see places from where others live.

I’ve been watching a series of videos on YouTube, where a bloke does tours across lots of the US and parts of Canada, on a 1290KTM. Lots of places he goes look stunning. I really must get over there at some point.

Rode 530 miles of interstate yesterday part was the length of 81 in VA. Would have liked to take back roads but time was of the essence. Couldn’t feel my toes by the end.
