Just had my tenere flashed and it removed all s mode restrictions. So s mode is 1:1 now everywhere.

I have to admit that s mode is now a true sport mode and is extremely fun for aggressive riding but sucks rocks in stop and go. Its far too powerful off the line even with a good wrist.

However: T mode is now identical to s mode but with a nice smooth ramp from 1000-2500 that lets you feather the throttle instead of the clutch at parking lot speeds, and its totally unrestricted above 50% throttle, so t mode gives you full power when you need it. Its absolutely perfect now for daily riding and off road fun, with S mode in reserve for canyon runs or slaying mountain passes.

This really is how the bike should have been from day one.

My tuner used T-mode's sixth gear unrestricted map for every gear in T-mode. The result is a more mellow, very linear power curve that makes it perfect for situations where you don't want instantaneous stump-pulling power with a slight twist of the wrist. Far better than the stock T-mode, which made the throttle input feel really disconnected from the response.

Exactly. Ex and I bought a pair of 2013 S10's new from the dealer around Christmas 2015 when I joined this site. Hers was and is still stock aside from adding Givi luggage. I had Anthony reflash mine. Riding them back to back and doing side-by-side comparisons from a roll in several different gears the difference was obvious. My reflashed bike in touring mode was quicker to accelerate than her bike in sport mode. My bike in sport mode would just kill hers.

In sport mode and my traction control set to 2, the traction warning light will flash on briefly during a 6,800-7,000 rpm shift from 1-2 and 2-3 as the front wheel leaves the ground for just enough time to trigger the sensor. I'm fairly impressed by that since I weigh ~ 290 lbs geared up.

All anecdotal, yes. I did have my bike dyno tested and am trying to find the misplaced / mislabeled files this afternoon. If I can't locate them, I will call the shop where the testing was done and see if he can send me JPG's of the results.
No luck at all in locating the files on my laptop or any flash drives. I called the shop where the dyno runs were performed and the owner informed me his dyno computer had been replaced twice over the last few years and he didn't back up / copy any customer files after each crash.

That’s great thanks. I’ll probably strip the bearings out before I send it. I assume they just push out?

Cheers
