I have a California Science tinted Shorty windscreen for a gen 2 Super Tenere. It was used for about an hour total. I'm on the short side and this screen was not quite short enough for my head to clear the buffeting. I ended up cutting down my stock shield to a height that works well so I don't need this one. I drilled a set of holes about 1.5" higher than the original mounting holes to drop the shield a bit further but that was not enough for me. $80 shipped CONUS.

I have been looking for info from other that cut their stock screens down that got clean airflow on their helmet. How much did you cut off to get happy with yours?

I've attached a picture showing the height of my cut down stock screen. It's mounted to a Madstad bracket and works great for me. I'm 5' 7" for reference. My main goal with the screen is to protect the back of the instrument cluster from rocks and insects and keep my head in some clean air.

Perfect, Thanks! I was thinking of cutting mine to get clean air while protecting the cluster as you have done and take some load of the torso. I drilled holes to lower it, but it was not enough and still had buffeting and noise. I'm 6'4", so copying something close to your cut should work for me as well. I also have the Madstad bracket with a large windscreen for the colder months.
