For anyone riding Baja in April 2020. I'll be changing up from my usual routes this year heading north. I plan to leave my place in El Sargento April 4 and head down around the East Cape, cut across the mountains north of Cabo to Pescadero then head north. I'm going to incorporate more of GPSKevin's Baja Backcountry Discovery Route (Blue Line). 1400 or so miles, 85% off road. This ride is solo but it's nice to know if others have similar plans or will be in the area.

For anyone around the La Paz or La Ventana area, if you need a place to work or rest - let me know. Door is usually open.

Took the old road from Los Planes to Los Barriles along the coast yesterday scouting my way along the Baja California Discovery Route. Not too bad, big bikes should be careful. The ascents are easy enough but the descents through the arroyos are loose scree with some sliding. Tight shallow sand, good gravel, and scenic.

Absolutely gorgeous.
By "big bikes should be careful"...do you mean that the route can be challenging on a Super T?
