The BMW has crash bars. Still, yup, sure looks bigger. I've ridden one, not the GSA, it did not seem that wide to me.
Yup….that's the one.
The SuperTen looks quite slim and compact alongside the GSA!
I'm not a fan of Beemers, but I don't think I ever felt the heat from the head/pistons. The fairing did a good job to keep the heat away. The KZ 1000 was a different story though. Heat just came up, and around the tank. Don't miss that one either.I've never ridden a BMW but those cylinders look like they would roast you on a hot day.
My buddy had a shiney new 79 KZ 1000 LTD. Finest bike I had ever seen. His dog ate the back off the seat about a week after he got it. He drove it like that till he sold it. He could pull some monster wheelies.I'm not a fan of Beemers, but I don't think I ever felt the heat from the head/pistons. The fairing did a good job to keep the heat away. I have a 2016 water cooled GSA and yes, it gets super hot on the right side.I've never ridden a BMW but those cylinders look like they would roast you on a hot day.
