Day before yesterday. Jotunheimvegen (Jotunheimen Road) and Peer Gynt vegen (Peer Gynt Road), two spectacular scenic dirt roads in eastern Norway. A bit of snow some places, surprisingly early although not exactly unheard of, either. Weather cleared up nicely for the ride along the Peer Gynt Road, although temperatures were low-ish at 3 and 9 degrees C respectively.20190903_113710.jpg20190903_113710.jpg20190903_114837.jpg20190903_113710.jpg20190903_114837.jpg20190903_121004.jpg20190903_113710.jpg20190903_114837.jpg20190903_121004.jpg20190903_140829.jpg20190903_113710.jpg20190903_114837.jpg20190903_121004.jpg20190903_140829.jpg20190903_140858.jpg20190903_113710.jpg20190903_114837.jpg20190903_121004.jpg20190903_140829.jpg20190903_140858.jpg

Before going to bed last night went to get a new asthma spray out of the medicine....oops that was the last one. My medicine is $50 copay a month here. An entire years supply was $28 in Mexico (Los Algodones)

So to Mexico we go! My only day off this week so did 600 miles Vegas to Yuma and back in just under 9 hours. That is the longest Ive done on a bike in one sitting. It was interesting and HOT AS HELL! Thank goodness for modular helmets and the ability to drink while rolling.

Was so flustered after the 300 miles down I forgot to take a picture of my bike there....

There must be 5 or so signs (BIG) on the way from the highway turn off to the last place you can make a U turn about how guns and ammunition are illegal in Mexico. Its a big problem with people forgetting. Thankfully this place outside Yuma has a US parking lot that is less than 30 yards walk from the border.

I was in Mexico for literally 4 mins, including clearing customs on the way back in. This place is a ghost town in the summer, but in the winter is hours long times to get across the border.

Did over 600 miles in two days through six countries (Wales, England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany) on my way to Romania, but unfortunately virtually all on motorway, thank God for the cruise control and Givi Airflow. Perhaps not a lot by US standards but the roads are busier over here, today it seemed like every truck in the world was on the road in northern Germany. Tomorrow will swing by the dams made famous by 617 Squadron and Colditz after that.

Went to Millville NJ Motorsports Park to watch Qualifying and practice. Unfortunately had to leave before Race 1 that going on now. What a beautiful day and facility.

I don't get to be #1 that often. Hahaha. It was one of those, 'Quick, take a picture. "

Any twisty road with big drop offs is more fun at night, in the rain on knobbies. :D

Yes, saw a bunch of the women sport bike group. My friends were working the Yamaha demo trailer there this weekend. Wife and I rode out from Tupelo with our friend Wendy Crockett. She was doing corporate meet and greet at the event.

I'll post some pics when we get home this evening. Stopped for a late lunch just off the Natchez Trace in Colliinswood, TN. (Chad's Family Restaurant)
