So far it is this picture of it harnessed and caged, and sadly it is the only picture I took of it since it's been mine. Many more pictures to come though once she is free of the winter hibernation, freedom is getting nearer everyday! :)
I have one similar to this of my bike, picked up from Romney, and strapped down in a trailer, on it's way to me. That is among my favorite pictures.

Almost the same spot (I missed it by about a hundred feet), two different bikes, nine years apart. US 64, east of Taos, New Mexico, Cimarron Canyon State Park.
I'll be riding through there in a few weeks on my way to Arizona :)
Hoping the roads, and the weather will be good to me...................

Do you ride the Shelf Road in that area?
I've always liked it. Rode it first time on our honeymoon 39 years ago.

I was actually planning to ride Shelf-Road the day I took this picture, but I was running out of daylight quickly.
I didn't want to ride it in the dark, so I saved it for another day.

I hope the weather's good for you too, SkunkWorks. It was terrific when I was there in June last year; the only drawback were the wildfires in Colorado and New Mexico. Where I took that photo was not too far from the Ute Park wildfire; I have a photo of where the forest burned down the side of a mountain, almost to some houses beside US 64.

I'll give you this link, for when you head out that way. It's a link containing up to date info on any wildfires that might be burning in the areas you plan on riding. It really came in handy when we were heading down to Durango, and were able to tell what roads to avoid.

Love the Phantom Canyon Road photo. That was a great ride, though the washboards were really rough when i was there. I ran into a couple guys on cruisers (a Kawasaki and a Harley) close to the Canon City end, heading north. Man, they looked miserable; 4" of travel on a rear suspension on those roads must have been like riding on a paint shaker. When I told them they had many more miles to go on those washboards, they looked like I'd told them that their dog died.

I looked at my photo album, and I don't have a single photo of my bike on Phantom Canyon Rd....unbelievable.

First decent ride of 2019 on the first day of spring this past Wednesday.
A 300 km loop inland and back to the Pacific Ocean along the west coast of Vancouver Island and home. Started out warm, dropped cold enough for the frost & ice warning to come up on the dash of the GSA. On the return leg we saw 21C with clear sky’s. Felt very good to be able to exercise the bike again.

Sept. 12th, 2018 at Duffy Lake, British Columbia. Left Britannia Beach that morning to start my return trip to Cape Breton Island.
I'll do this trip again in 2020 but I will not be in such a hurry and it will be much earlier in the season. Damn sure had some cold days on this trip. The following day I crashed on a frozen bridge deck over the Bow River. No injury and little damage allowed me to continue on with only a minor delay.

March Moto Madness West Coast at Songdog Ranch CA. Awesome event, BMW groups really know how to throw a shindig.

Only one Tenere in attendance. It got lost in a sea of GS's and wildflowers.

Carizo Plains beauty. The spring bloom is only half out. Wait another 2-3 weeks and there will be more colors carpeting the hills.

Long ride day, got lots of exercise picking up GS's. The Tenere remained vertical somehow, only bike that day to do so.
