I have the HJC ARPHA 70 which I bought at the end of last year. Full disclosure *** I hate full face lids *** that being said I don't actually mind this one. Good vision out the sides so I don't feel claustrophobic like with most, decent ventilation although I still prefer wind in the face. Lastly even with the XL this thing is really light and fits me very well. Not sure how much it weighs but I think because of the fit it disperses the weight better then some of the others I tried.
Good luck...

Do you have a Cycle Gear near by? My local 'Gear has a crazy wide selection to try on.

Both Klim and BMW System 4/5 offer carbon full face and modular helmets. Not cheap, but quite light and very good quality.

I tried on the Klim Krios and it's super light. I have a local shop called MotorHelmets that has a wide variety of head protection. I just purchased the Shoei VFX-EVO last week. It's a good compromise of light weight and safety. I also have the Shoei Neotech which is very comfortable but not what your looking for weight wise.

I plan on testing my VFX-EVO on a long ride soon. I'm 5' 9", 30" - 31" inseam. With my OEM windscreen/Madstad bracket set at the halfway point there is was zero turbulence and no helmet lift on my initial ride. I might add that I am very comfortable with dirt only helmets and goggles. If this helmet can do a comfortable 300-500 mile day ride then I'll wait a while before getting a fancy "adventure helmet" .

Yea, don't buy a Neotec if you want light. That helmet is like 10lb and feels like 50 on the head. I just stay with Arai. Too expensive, not the lightest probably, but they are darn comfotable. Just kidding on the Neotec, but that helmet did not agree with my head at all.

It's easy to imagine your regret. Tried to buy an Arai and thankfully couldn't quite pull the trigger based on fit. Seems Shoei works for the more rounded head and Arai for the more thin, front to back.

I might add that even having a Shoei head sometimes certain models can be poor fitting. I have the old Hornet that fits well but the Hornet 2 just crushes my scull in my normal medium.

I believe AGV holds the current record with their Pista and Sport Modular, I actually bought a sport modular tried it for a day and sent it back. Was very poorly made for an $800 helmet, plastic felt like cheap plastic used in a kids toy and the carbon fiber had flaws. It was extremely light though felt like wearing nothing. I gave up on the ultralight helmet idea and now wear a Schubert E1, a well designed helmet feels weightless at speed, the aerodynamics of the E1 are awesome without the peak installed. Not to mention it's incredibly comfortable and quiet even after hours of wear and being able to flip up at lights, traffic jams to get a drink of water or just not be stuffy in the summer is worth it.

Don't know if this is your style, I wear this one and its light and comfortable. I took off the yellow shield and installed the reflective one.
