First Map tweak - Richer Off Idle and small Throttle Opening

This is my first foray into tweaking maps. My goal was to make the bike (Gen 1 with a 30 ECU) friendlier right off idle and at very small throttle openings. My thought was this is a 1200 twin. It should pull way better down low, so using the unrestricted map as a starting point I boosted the Throttle Position vs RPM and the MAP vs RPM settings a little. Just in the 1-5% throttle and 1-1500 RPM ranges.

My incredibly inaccurate seat of the pants dyno shows an improvement. It seems to pull better from a stop and at small throttle openings. I can easily pull away from a stop sign in 2nd and with some careful clutch work in 3rd. It seems to pull better from small throttle openings in higher gears as well. Again, it was a relatively short ride with seat of the pants results only, but I think it is an improvement.

The map is available on the Flash Tune site in the User Shared section under mbjst1@gmail.com.

YMMV. The choice to flash your ECU is yours. I accept no responsibility for negative outcomes if you choose to use my map.

So you didn't actually richen the fuel mixture but rather the throttle position to throttle body position map?

Well, I thought that was what I was doing when increasing the MAP vs RPM values, but will admit to being a novice at this.
