Folks I am going a different direction with my bike and have decided to part with these pieces. I have two Altrider rear luggage racks one is black, and one is bare aluminum. I only have mounting hardware for one. The mounting hardware is easily obtainable. I also have a Denali Light Bar Bracket...
Hey, everyone I was recently inspired by a build I saw someone locally doing and decided to expound on what he started. I made a new design for a luggage rack that mounts to your existing pannier mounting locations and is also supported by your rear luggage rack three-point mount. This requires...
Not sure if you found a solution but the Hepco and Becket skid pan have the same issue. The issues is on the 2014 and up models they have different headers. For some reason the manufacturers are saying these fit newer models when in fact they do not without my mod. I just completed this mode...
All right I worked out a fix and no need to return my expensive skid pan all is working fine now no interference. So, for any of you looking to add the Hepco & Becker skid pan to 2014 and up models you will need to relieve a section of the cross tube for the through bolt. I used a Dremel with a...
Here is the issue it rubs but I am going to relieve a bit of the bracket tube by sanding it through. This should give me a hair thickness of clearance and not affect much of anything. Will post the results tomorrow.
I know these fit the 2013 and earlier it's an issue with 2014 and up. The headers on the current gen are different the beds obscure the through hole on the right side. It makes no difference which side you put the nut on, and I am following the directions. I was able to assemble the skid pan...
Hey folks I am trying to install a Hepco & Becker skid plate on my 2017 SuperT and hit a wall. The cross brace on the front is obstructed by the headers. I bought the skid plate for my year but did not think the headers would be an issue. I noticed earlier bikes have a different header config...
What you are suggesting is not backed up by any Yamaha literature not saying you're wrong but it can't be confirmed. As for on road vs off road dampening settings there are general rules for what should be usimg in either setting not completely preference.
You missed my question entirely I already stated I did not need any advice on preload and sag. There are definitely recommended dampening settings for on road vs off road which is what my question was. My weight is irrelevant as dampening has nothing to do with weight. If anyone has any...
Hey folks I am looking for settings for my ES for on road then off road. I am not looking for how to set sag that is well documented but general rule appears to be max out preload as the bike is very soft stock.
As for the settings soft standard and hard +/- where should I be for on road then...
