Happy 8th birthday! Who's still has their S10 from the first US batch?

Sadly, my PDP bike was totaled when I threw it down the interstate in the rain. But I replaced it with a '15 ES, which is even better. Combined mileage is a bit over 91,000 miles now. I also follow Trevor on FB. In addition to cool travels, he does a lot of good for people. I'm proud to...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Friday I did the cheap seat mod to level the seat. Rode a couple hundred miles on Saturday, and it's a big improvement!

    SW Ohio, ~Dayton

Greetings from a little east of you in Hilliard. Welcome! It's a great bike, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I agree with Nikolajsen's answers. I tend to lube the shifter pivot a couple times a year.

Large Caps for led Lights for Yamaha Super Tenere All Models ( More Pics ).

That was our experience riding in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil in 2008 also. The people were wonderfully warm and welcoming.

    I'm now a Geezer

Took a demo ride on a '19 GW DCT a couple weeks ago, and danged if it wasn't pretty awesome. Not what I want to buy right now, but I could see riding one.

    Do You Trail Brake?

For me, the answer is sometimes. I am still learning the technique. We were taught it in Lee Parks' school, and I've also watched some other instructional videos and read articles from other schools. I'm not as smooth at it as I need to be yet, but when I get it right it works great for...

    Mystery spring

Looks like a valve spring from a Spagthorpe Whippet (more like the Mk. I; the Mk. IIs were a bit longer).

    well shit happens....

Wow, that stinks. I'm very glad to hear that you are OK. Super Tenere's can be replaced, I know from personal experience. Better luck this time around! Let's all be careful out there...

Does it worth the upgrade from 2010 model to after 2014 ES model?

I went from a 2012 to a 2015 ES. Multiple improvements: - Suspension is better. I am not a terribly fast rider, nor do I do any aggressive off-pavement, so it is good enough for me. Pretty much any suspension can be improved by well-informed aftermarket choices, though. - Engine is notably...
