Wanted-OEM Left side Pannier (exhaust side)

I clipped my left pannier and the lid and case are trash - Anyone have one they want to get rid of. I did a search, any ones that were listed have been sold that I can see, but if some took down their post for any reason, maybe someone has one available. I would take the pair to get them off...

    APP for recording rides?

I use my Garmin GPS. Reset the tracks before starting and connect to BaseCamp to view the track or turn it into a future route.

How Do I Remove a Broken Spark plug on a 2012 Super Tenere?

You might be able to get to it with the valve cover off too.

    HARD START

Will all do respect, static battery voltage while sitting doesn't really tell you anything (unless you have a shorted cell). It should read at least 12 volts and most times a little more. There are 6 cells developing ~2 volts each. The way you test a battery is under load. Get a battery load...

Torn down engine.. take a look at what you see

combustion chambers look normal to me, but I would have two follow-up questions. How long has the bike been sitting and where was it stored. Condensation and a light rust would form on the non-contact areas of the cylinder (like at the top). Could a small amount of antifreeze spilled into the...

    New member from Pennsylvania here..

Welcome, I have one of the original gen 1's with around 40k miles on it. Upgraded the clutch basket, had the tensioner replaced under warranty and upgraded the suspension from stoltec. Other than a bunch of additional farkles and regular maintenance, the bike has been great. I'm sure you'll...

    Valve Adjust 2014 ES

I did something similar with my drill press. Held the body of the tensioner in a vise and use the drill chuck to turn (by hand) and applied light down pressure to spin it down. Once it bottoms out, its easy to hold it there while engaging the clip. here's my legacy post about it...

    Charcoal Canister Removal

I'm glad my 12 doesn't have one. On previous bikes, if the canister gets saturated with fuel, the engine runs like crap until the fumes are evacuated, not only that but Once they become saturated, your supposed to replace them because they become inafective.

New engine vibrations bad gas? Or something else? On the road, need suggestions.

I wasn't near a computer that I could attach a picture, but this should clear it up. It's #1 in the picture.

Most likely and maybe the air box too.

There is a sensor mounted on the front side of the throttle bodies. They call it an AP'S sensor (air pressure sensor). Not sure if it takes vacuum directly from the throttle body or if the is a vacuum line coming off it. If there's a vacuum hose, it could be as simple as reconnecting it or...
