Well ridden, single owner motorcycle. In the first 5 years I owned it, I put on 38,000 miles...the last 3 I've been more into sports cars. Has all the best upgrades: - Russel Day Long seat (I've put in 14 hours without feeling a thing) -Twisted Throttle bars (with freeway pegs) and bash plate...

Anyone install non-OEM heated gri[s? I'd like to put some on the bike (2012 ST), but don't know I want to pay the $350 - $400 for the OEM branded ones.

Still got mine...40K since July of 2011. Whenever I about replacing it, I think about how great a bike it is....then ride it and remember how great it is. Part of that is the bike is set up exactly how I like it (though heated grips would be nice).

Temps last 2 weeks in the 60s....took a 5 hour loop last week; 4 hour loop today, through southern Indiana. 50/50 dirt/gravel and pavement, combination of twistys, fire service roads and hills....and two excellent water crossings.

Rode it...something I've only had time time to do once since Nov of last year

Not sure about 2016...but, won't say no yet....might be trying the Smoky Mtn 500 this year

WR is too tall for me....I like the G650GS...suits the same purpose; only thing missing is good wind protection.
