I've had to move on from the ST since it was written off in a collision with a bicycle. I bought it as an almost new ex-demo and had it for 16 months and 9000 miles in which time it only cost me fuel, one oil change, and £500 depreciation. Had some great fun on it too; even central London...

I ran out of fuel on my way to work today. Fuel trip said 32.1 miles travelled. Tank refill took 22 litres. Av fuel consumption was 40mpg (UK). I was a bit surprised the fuel trip range wasn't greater - was hoping for 40-50. Luckily it happened next to a filling station.

It's in the post. Not had a chance to get away this year and not looking likely with a house move coming up. But the ST is a surprisingly good London commuter and it's grown on me a lot in the last six months. Best wishes Jon
