There is no difference between the 2014 and 2022, except for color and very minor engine tweaks. I didn't like anything, the suspension, engine mapping, seat, handling, etc. Only put 2600 miles in 4 years of ownership. I bought my GS in 2019 new and after 3 years have over 15,000 miles!

I didn't like anything with my 2014, sold it for a 2019 R1250GS and have not looked back. I think the GS is the best ADV bike out there.

Update.......I just cracked 11,000 miles on my 2019 R1250GS. Still no issues or problems. Will be going in for my 12,500 mile servce very soon. I will get back to let you all know the cost. I will be needing tires soon too. I just love this bike, the best!

I read that there will be no more S10 starting 2022..............hopefully Yamaha updates the bike to be able to compete with the big boys, i.e. BMW, Ducati, KTM, etc.

I was very interested in this new Ducati too. But past Ducati's I have ridden had all that wonderful power come in at high RPM's. In looking at the engine specifications, the 170HP comes in at 10,500 RPM and the Torque is 92 ft.-lbs. at 8,750 RPM. Compared to my R1250GS the HP is less at 136...
