I went to Lowes and matched up some replacement phillips head screws and well nuts for a few bucks ditched the OEMs.

Do the zippers close towards the rider or away? (IE: Do you pull the zipper towards yourself to close the bag?) Thanks!

FWIW, I just completed a 1650 mile IBA ride on a Seat concepts seat with a bead rider pad and seat leveling and i have to say, the seat leveling makes a HUGE difference in long distance comfort. :)

This. The washers should take most of the flex out. Also make sure that the Rox risers you have are not rubber isolated. If they are, then you have double rubber isolation and that's going to be a problem.
