My German trip for May 2020 was binned due to COVID, but I had paid for my ticket on Stena Lines so I moved it to September 2020 and that was binned too. Now I have moved it to September 2021 but I will have to see how things go. If it falls through, then it could be Scotland or Ireland. Watch this space!

I am thinking that any travel in 2022 in Europe will be met with hoards clamouring to get out and back to normal. I envisage the roads being packed and accommodation sparse post(?) covid. Am I being too thimble half empty??

do you mean 2021
No mate. I am not sure if you can travel atm. I had planned a 3 month tour of Europe with my wife in 2022, but feel it will be too transitional and hectic. I am thinking to stand back and watch the shitfest and then make plans for 2023.. We are coming from Phils to the UK then on to Europe.

Edited.

Have today agreed a bike trip to the Border Country, staying in a cottage just outside of Berwick Upon Tweed. Have done very very little riding in this area, looking forward to exploring.

Still have a July trip planned for the Picos in Spain...........hopefully travel is open by then.
