I have personally met with the owner of T-Rex racing. He is a good person and he cares. Let him know.
I gave T-Rex the opportunity to make it right. After many emails which went from them completely denying the claim as normal wear and tear, then these were said to be rock chips and not covered to where they finally agreed to provide a small discount which barely covered the cost of my fuel to drop the bars off at the paint shop to have them repaired.
They are very aware I feel this was not adequate but it was all they felt they should do and that management didn’t even want to do that little for me.
They may be good people but their refusal to first acknowledge their quality issues, then make BS excuses and then to provide only a small amount of compensation IMO make the company one I choose not to deal with ever again.
I based my decision to buy the T-Rex crash bars and skid plate based largely on reviews and info provided by this community. I think the community deserves to hear all the good along with the not so good.
In the end all I can hope for now is that for an extra $200 spent I will end up with the product I originally thought I had purchased.
