That's about what they're predicting for us (3"-7") But, ours will be gone in less than a week.

I've had at least some amount of snow up here for well over a month. About 18" of that over the last 2 weeks. I can usually ride every month around here...I'm having my doubts about February this year.

I guess one more thing the UK and the US have in common. Truly sorry to hear that. Unfortunately exposure to sunlight will cause only the snowflakes on my property to fade away.

And Dr Ratbagg, be careful out there. I heard from a Seattle based friend today. He tells me there's a lot of crazy that happen when snow is falling out there. Good luck.

My house is on a slight hill with a slight curve at the bottom where the home owners there always leave a couple of cars parked on the curb. Cars there have been hit three times, two were totals, but I guess the insurance just keeps paying off so they haven't changed their ways. I had to watch the grand daughter today and after pulling out of my drive had the brakes locked most of the way sliding down the hill. Fortunately I could put the right wheels in the grass at some woods just uphill of the parked cars.
Good day to stay inside.

Ice sucks. Glad you managed to save that one.

I've got so many layers of ice/snow/sleet/ice on the driveway now I'm hoping it will melt in time for the Black Hills ride in late July.
