Hopefully not a repeat, I did do a search of the forum for 'Sanders' first. if you're interested in the T700 you might like Nick's blog here https://www.nicksanders.com/blog-1 For the uninitiated this guy got the record for the fastest circumnavigation of the globe on a bicycle and then did it again on an R1 way back when. His records have been broken since then, but he was the first.

I don’t see the T-700 being any different! Rock solid. I’m messaging Nick occasionally and he’s doing well on his journey.

Nick is why I own a Super Tenere, his 3 trips from Ushuaia to Deadhorse and back then tearing down the motor to find this..

He’s certainly nuts but torture test a machine, he can do!
and me had a 1200 gsa wanted something better more reliable had issues new about nick and the tenere so i did the swop 6 yrs ago not looked back

I have his book on his record breaking cycle Ride round the British coast in 22 days, him being a Mancunian too.

My opinion: They decided to invest a few extra dollars/rubles/yen/etc to build it right the first time. And, their return, miles & machines later, justified said investment.

Sanders' report on his experience with the S10 was a big factor in why I chose it, and I've never regretted the decision. If I didn't do so much cross country two-up riding, the T7 would be on the short list for a replacement when the big blue supertanker rides its last mile.
