What WJB said.

I just grabbed mine off Ebay for like 65 bucks. Though I do love RM, I just had Ebay bucks to spend.

The years are from like 87 to current.

Just a heads up. Everyone is different with their stuff. I build stuff, so I have zero issues cutting n fiddling. I dontvwant anyone getting em and being pissed they gotta tinker. Dont think so much here, but some HD guys are super priss about stuff.

BUT youll need to mod that little nip on the sidestand. I cut it off, it was always useless to me. But you can get away with a big wrench and bending it forward a bit to clear the peg when its folded up.

Mines a Gen 1.

New E-07+ fitted on the back end. Front Dakar has outlasted 1 x E-07+ and 1 x Motoz GPS.

Also replaced some embarrassingly worn rear pads.

Installed my new Happy Trails top box. Matches my panniers, which I never use. Lighting in the garage was poor so photos were poor. I may post a photo later. It's the 47 liter unit in bare aluminum. It was a major pain to get the front mounting bolts tight but I prevailed and won in the end :)

Thanks @Highwayman I think I have a mod addiction. On another note I can confirm that zero modifications are required on 2016 so it will work on gen 2. The quality is amazing and its good 1/2 half inch wider and bit longer. Update 2/14 they sit a bit higher then stock so your shifter might need to be adjusted. It's the same difficulty to deploy the kick stand. Its harder now to pivot your foot and to move it back and forth. I can feel the teeth a bit more but I like it. More importantly the comfort difference is amazing and I feel I have more control now. I pushed it hard on some turns and no peg scraping. I will be removing the teeth because of the difficulty shifting 20200213_183906.jpg

Just put my 2020 registration sticker on my back plate. Temps will be in the single digits much of the next 48 hours so I was glad to do that.
