I am trying to decide which way to go; either the Bumot or the Mosco soft panniers. Any users of these panniers I would like to see what you like or dislike how they mount/ how they are to load/ how they worked for short or long trips/ on road vs off road performance.
I am more than likely going to get the Bumot hard panniers so whatever soft panniers I get will need to mount to the Bumot rack.

Thanks for the video's, I am leaning towards the Bumots, they look like their quality built, easy to install and will should hold everything I'm going to carry. Jason from ADV Motorrad said he'll have more stock in soon so he can measure them to see if my 18" tent poles and my Kermit chair will fit inside. The Kermit will probably have to be mounted elsewhere but it would be nice if it did fit.

Well my tent poles should fit but the Kermit will remain strapped to the seat. Here is the response from Jason @ ADV Motorrad:
Hi Brian - I reached out to BUMOT and was able to get some measurements:

16.9" L x 10" W (fully extended/filled) x 14.6" H

Height and width are variable based on contents and how tightly the top straps are drawn down, but hopefully that gives you an idea of "max size" when full. The measurements do not include the fore and aft bottle holders, and are based on the full size pannier, not the exhaust cut.

Thanks!

I ordered the Bumot racks but currently they are on back order, also added the spacer kit. The Xtremada panniers are also on back order but I have a little time before I'll actually need them.
I cannot wait for my first camping trip, I have a mixture of two tracks, sandy roads and twisty pavement to a nice camping spot at Lake Superior State Forest Campground.

Appreciate the video. Great review. that said I love the versatility of the M Moto bag and so will be ordering those. Right now I run Caribou 35lt but given I will do more dirt this year feel safer with a soft bag.

Mosko as carries extra fuel and they just seem to have thought about everything. Even the beaver tail allows you to tuck something in there quickly....for easy access nice.

Was going to buy at the show but no inventory. 5% off if you ordered at the show....not the greatest show deal so put off the purchase but as riding season / trip season approaches I will need to order.

I just ordered the Xtremada Soft Panniers today. Jason was a pleasure to talk and work with. If interested, ADV Motrorrad has a few sets in stock right now. Luckily, I already have Defender hard panniers and these will just slap on when needed.

Can you post some pics when you get them installed?
