So, I've had the Sidi adv boots for 1 1/2 years now and they just keep squeaking! I love the boots but dam, they just won't stop squeaking! I would have thought they would have been broken in enough to stop the squeak but I suppose I will have to deal until I wear them out. I have tried a Teflon spray and even a little wd40, but no luck, would love any suggestions.

Pull out the insole, spray silicone spray inside the boot, then reinstall the insole. Helps for a bit.

The wife can't sneak up on me at all with her Sidi boots. My Gaerne boots don't squeak.

I bought a pair and after a short walk and one ride I sold them on this forum. No matter what you use on them after the next rain the "stuff " will have washed off and... they squeak again.
I love my Sidi "On Road" (the model of the boot not its only use)!

Most auto parts stores have it.

The Sidi all roads look like a great boot with the potential to be quiet? Should this b my excuse for a new pair of boots?
Go to Revzilla and watch the video's for All Road Gore-tex, On Road, and Canyon Gore-tex.

Have had the All Roads for about a year now. Great boot, and have done well on some of my get offs in the dirt. But they are a touring boot, not much more. I have also hiked several miles in them without any problems or discomfort.

My Gaerne boots didn't squeak...until recently. My left boot developed a squeak last weekend during a ride. I attribute it to the heat (98 degrees). When the temp got cooler the squeak went away.

I use a few drops of triflow on the parts that rub against each other and work it in. I only have to re-apply about once or twice a year. I've been doing this for about 8 years and 4 to 5 pairs of boots, haven't ruined plastic or leather (yet).
