I think Tabasco means will this be mated to an equally upgraded set of forks! There aren’t 2 rear shocks on an ST , so the rear shocks don’t have to be matched to work together ..
A ridiculous amount of improvement can be had by respringing the rear shock. This is the route I took before I found a used Ohlins. Racetech has the bits you need to go on either end of the spring. I went with Eibach 08002251000 as the spring.
Interestingly, when I put 250# into the spring calculator, it returns the second-highest spring.
I'm stoked they sell the shock collars; that was the one piece I couldn't figure out before. The next step up for the Eibach springs is the 0800.250.1200, which is the equivalent of the strongest spring on the RaceTech site.
Reviving this thread. Has anyone found a spring calculator that will allow passenger and luggage weight? I get that I'm 230# all the time but I want to be able to crank in preload if my wife wants to ride along.
