Sadly, I think Yamaha will do the US dirty and never sell the awesome T7 variants hitting the rest of the global market. Personally, I would be very interested in the T7 Extreme because I don't need the extra fuel capacity (weight) of the World Rade version but want the upgraded suspension.

Not required, or at least with 2WDW you tell them what you have modified (if anything), then they do the tune for that level of modification.

The first time I re-sprung my 690, I went with my weight plus my gear, and it turned out to be oversprung. The bike was only really happy when fully loaded with my extra camping gear. I'm about to re-spring the 690 a second time, and I went with the K-Tech method.
